Looking for a nice 76 or 77 Cutlass that is not a project car. Been there done that with a GTO. Budget is 8,000 and under. Just a nice dependable driver that I could take to a show or two and not be embarrassed. Not sure what 8,000 would get me. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Al

Your 8K budget should buy you a nice 76/77 Cutlass, These cars are very dependable and nice drivers. I have owned 3 1976 Cutlass Supremes over the years and have had very good luck with them. I had a 260 V8, I wouldn't recommend buying one with that engine, although very dependable. It was very economical while I was apprenticing back in the 80's.

Thanks guys for all the leads. I really do appreciate it very much. Like I said I know what to look for in a GTO, but a Cutlass, not so sure. Vinyl top (rust issues underneath) check. Rear bumper (rust issues) check. Someone said if the interior needs a lot of work, I should probably walk away. Any other things I should know? I do have a line on a 77 Cutlass in Reed City Michigan. Looks very nice. Owner will not show it until he takes it out of storage in late April. I am hoping we can agree on a price. I think all I would have to do to that one is throw on a set of RWL tires and go.

saginaw.craigslist.org/cto/6026153708.htmlHighly optioned car, power windows, pwr locks, intermittent wipers, cruise .... Interior looks nice. Worth going to look at, only concern is no pictures of bumpers, trunk or passenger side.

Well guys I am the proud owner of a 77 Cutlass Supreme Brougham. I bought the Reed city car. I will pick it up on Monday. I am looking at getting some body side mouldings and pinstripes for the car. What sizes will I need for these 2 items? What color pinstripe would look best? I want it to look stock. Thanks Al
