Had a chance to meet a member Eric ( 76oldsman ) this weekend. As other members mentioned, he's 1 heck of a nice guy. Love's his Oldsmobile's and Pontiac's. His 76 Olds is very nice to see in person, lots of shiny parts under the hood and sounds awesome with headers and duals, much quicker than mine off the line. I really need some 3:42 gears. Didn't find anything interesting at the swap meet so we took a drive down to my place by the beach. Had a few pops, loads of laughs and finished the day off with a cruise around Wasaga Beach. Looking forward to heading down to his place in the next couple weeks with a few parts to do some wrenchin' on our cars. Had a great time Eric ! Thanks, Randy & Crystal

Its always nice to meet other Oldsmobile enthusiasts. We certainly had a good day Randy! Thanks for the compliments on my Olds, its been a work in progress for several years. Once you get your Posi and rear gears we can spend a day installing them. We have had some great conversations over the phone this past week, its as if we were old high-school buds. The cruise around wasaga brought back many memories of cruising up their when I was in my late teens and early 20's. Looking forward to many more ! Your wife welcomed us with some fine hospitality on our first visit. Her home-made pizza was awesome!! We are looking forward to your visit this weekend, The garage is finally finished up, floor was painted and ready to go. Have a good week at work, see you on Saturday !
Eric

Awesome! And this is why the forum was created! I couldn't be happier with this forum. I have read so many posts, this forum has so much information to offer. Really, from part numbers, year production numbers including some good technical information etc. A guy like myself can learn so much from all of you, meeting up with Eric was a bonus. We are literally 45min from each other, how cool is that ! I plan on hanging around for many years to come and hope to meet more of you guys as time goes on. You created an awesome forum, with amazing technical information without a doubt. Randy

Eric Thanks Eric, We certainly created a very good friendship that will last a lifetime, My wife also makes some killer pasta lol. It must be the Italiano in her. The ladies seemed to have lots to chat about as well. From what I understand, they have the Saturday planned to do some shopping at Square 1 in Mississauga. I was able to pull off purchasing a Yukon Posi along with 3:42 gears and the install kit from Summit, should be here tomorrow actually. I'm really pumped to start working on them haha. So my wife certainly deserves a day of shopping ! Summit wouldn't ship the Diff/Anti Slip fluids so I will have to pick that up locally. Hope your having a good week as well, talk to you later this evening bud ! Randy
