I'm in need of the extruded plastic/chrome hood/cowl trim for our 1976 Olds Cutlass Supreme. We could also use some front windshield Trim, the wild turkey that we hit damaged the pieces a little too much to save.
We are Located in Canada.
If anyone has any extra pieces they are willing to sell , or knows of some available please let us know .

Still looking for the hood trim, Joe had the windshield trim but couldn't find the hood trim. Would prefer to get both pieces shipped since I don't have the time to travel around sourcing one piece at a time.

We have texted Joe,
I mentioned, We just don't have the time to drive out (or send a driver) to Georgetown for just the windshield trim.
I was prepared to wait it out while you looked, but I haven't heard from you since mid Aug, so I had to reach out to others.

I'm a little disappointed TBH, as you could understand.
I really don't want to post this in the transaction feedback either. However, in the future. Could you please make sure you have the parts on hand or able to obtain them, before posting "got everything you need in Hamilton".
For myself and our other members, I would appreciate your co-operation going forward.

It disappoints me too that I can't find this stuff, but you could have at least told me you weren't really interested and not wasted may time looking for it and delivering 1/2 hour from your house.
How many times I pack stuff up and get no further with people. waste of my time

I should have told you I wasn't interested?? You were well aware that I was only interested in picking up all pieces in one planned visit. I told you I wasn't interested in making two trips.
The last text message I received from you was Aug 27 stating you haven't forgotten. You looked again on that date but still couldn't find it, its their somewhere just can't remember.
I replied, thanks for looking, hopefully it turns up, I will work on my trim and use it for now until you found it.
Then... no reply.
I'n any event you said you tried and I believe you, the point is... Posting saying you have everything without making sure.
You could have said I will have a look, I probably have everything your looking for.
This would not have been a waist of your time if you could have delivered what you said you had to begin with.
I see you deleted your member status with us. It's unfortunate just over a deal such as this. $hit happens, nobody is perfect, you thought you had all the parts but turned out you didn't. Not a reason to leave the forum IMO.
