I'm posting this for a friend that almost got burnt by Louis, if you purchase anything from him be sure to use your credit card!!! Not debit or cash!!
The rims were ordered in July 2016!!! With a 4-5 week delivery!!!
So as of today 10/28/2016 I still do not have my refund. I've called numerous times and kept it very civil and businesslike each time until today when I called and got more BS from their people.
I told them I would post all of this to the internet (and so far I haven't even posted 10% of it, just for simplicity's sake) and the sales guy Louie actually told me to "be careful what I say because it could end up costing me a lot more than the $2100" - as if I'm posting some kind of false claims.
So here it is, Centerline Wheels has still not refunded my $2100 for wheels they failed to deliver after 3 times longer a delivery date than they promised, they failed to cancel the order the first time I called on 10/12 to cancel, when I called again on 10/18 to find out where my refund was they gave me that BS story and said they'd handle it and "send out the refund today" which did not happen either, 10/20 I filed a dispute with my bank and later I get a letter back explaining Centerline is disputing that they have my money!
CENTERLINE IS DISPUTING WITH MY BANK THAT THEY EVEN HAVE MY MONEY.
Today Louis went on to tell me how great Centerline is and how many years they've been in business and how many customers they have and blah blah blah yet somehow he can't see that they need to refund MY money? He tells me out of all their customers he only has "3 or 4" that are pissed off?
So today's story is that so-and-so is on vacation until Tuesday but he's going to go talk to the people that write the checks and see if they can get it out today and he'll send me a tracking #. Which is what he told me yesterday too, with zero results.
CENTERLINE WHEELS HAS HAD $2100 OF MY MONEY SINCE 7/20/2016 AND SO FAR HAVE FAILED TO REFUND IT SINCE I CANCELLED MY ORDER ON 10/12/2016.
The bank finally went to battle with Centerline Wheels, he received his $2100 back in his account in October 31 2016
